News: DSP TW 2004 Tour Status
Posted by J_Cauthen on Wednesday, April 14 @ 16:46:56 PDT
Tiger Woods 2003 Due to problems with EASO's tournament history reporting page, the last two DSP Tour tournaments will not be counted as official events. It was impossible to reconcile all of the information needed to come up with an alternative solution. Word has it that the tournament history bugs have been worked out, and that we should be able to proceed as normal this week. See page 2 for more information concerning the tour schedule for the next two weeks.

PingThis12K4 Returns to the Winner's Circle at Bay Hill
Posted by J_Cauthen on Wednesday, March 24 @ 17:14:01 PST
Tiger Woods 2003 While the cat was away, the mice had been playing in the DSP 2004 Tour. This past week PingThis1 returned from his sabbatical and squelched the competition for a whopping 20 stroke victory at Bay Hill. His DSP 2004 Tour single round record score of 56 on Thursday put him 6 strokes ahead of former winner btmmayor, and he never looked back. His 53 under par 72 hole total of 235 was also a tour record. Click on Read More for final leaderboard and more details.

Tiger Woods 2003 Btmmayor (Bob Thayer) rode a fast start in round 1 (62) with three solid rounds under trying conditions to win his first DSP Tour event of 2004. In what turned out to be the tour's most hotly contested tournament to date, Bob's 22 under par 270 total edged second place finisher Tim Scott by one stroke. News: The Sweep Continues for PingThis1 at Cactus Mirage
Posted by J_Cauthen on Wednesday, January 28 @ 19:10:08 PST
Tiger Woods 2003 It wasn't as easy this time around, but PingThis12K4 (Keith Decollewaert) continued his dominance of the DSP TW 2004 Tour with a three shot victory over EAcom Golf Tim (Tim Scott). Tim made it a contest in round three with a 63, while Keith was "slipping" with a 65. Tim continued his charge in round 4, with a second consecutive 63, but Decollerwaert answered with a 61 to nail down the victory. Click Read More for more details and final leaderboard.

News: PingThis12K4's Dominance Continues at Scottsdale
Posted by J_Cauthen on Wednesday, January 21 @ 18:18:50 PST
Tiger Woods 2003 It all adds up for the DSP 2004 Tour's frontrunner, PingThis12K4 - another 32 under par, 72 hole total + a faltering field of competitors = another victory. PingThis' 6-stroke lead after 36 holes was never threatened after his tournament record 59 on Saturday. He did show signs of fallibility in Sunday's very dry conditions with a 69; however, the rest of the field could do no better than btmmayor's 75 unday the final round's treacherous test.

News: DSP TW 2004 Tour Update
Posted by J_Cauthen on Thursday, January 15 @ 09:15:48 PST
Tiger Woods 2003 A few technical snags have hampered DSP's Tiger Woods 2004 season in the early going. The first tournament at Pebble Beach will be scratched due to EASO dropping it off my tournament list on the final day. We haven't been able to reassemble the records for those who may have been able to finish, therefore it's been declared a scratch. Week 2's tournament at Kapalua was won by PingThis12k4 with a DSP Tour record 25 stroke margin of victory over yours truly. PingThis also had the tournaments low round with his opening 61. MMichaelSee and merrazaUK were the only two other players to survive the rigors of the treacherous Kapalua Plantation course, at -1 and +13 respectively. Click Read More for more information.

News: The CarnoustieTW Onslaught Continues at TPC Avenel
Posted by J_Cauthen on Thursday, December 04 @ 04:29:24 PST
Tiger Woods 2003 It's starting to sound like a broken record - CarnoustieTW wins again. This time it was at the TPC @ Avenel in the DSP Tour's 4th tournament on EASO. His final round 63 was enough to hold off Tim Scott by 5 shots. Carnoustie finished the 72 hole tournament at 26 strokes under par. He also tallied the tournament's low round, a 59 on Thursday. Plaidmoon1, finishing at -8, was the only other player in the field to complete 72 holes in the hastily arranged tournament. Your host experienced a multitude of computer and schedule problems prior to the tournament, and then unwittingly withdrew from the tournament by opting for a non-conventional method of exiting EASO! News: CarnoustieTW Makes it Two in a Row Poppy Hills
Posted by J_Cauthen on Thursday, November 27 @ 05:07:48 PST
Tiger Woods 2003 CarnoustieTW proved that last week's DSP Tour victory was not a fluke by winning again this week at Poppy Hills. It was a little bit more difficult this week, as Carnoustie round himself down by a stroke after round 1. He then nervously looked on as his comfortable 4 stroke lead came under assault by PingThis12k4's final round 54. Carnoustie got over his short-lived jitters with a statement issuing 55 of his own to secure the title.

The password for entry is "mars". Each round will last 24 hours. Updates will be given on our home page at various times through the week, including a complete leaderboard. I'm trying to arrange for a gathering of players in the 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST time frame for each of the 4 rounds for those who are interesting in playing in a pairing, and/or doing some live leaderboard watching as they play their rounds. Hope to see as many of you there as possible! Final Leaderboard on page 2
